Mi MIX 4 Details

Xiaomi has confirmed the the Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11 Ultra, and Mi Notebook Pro to launch at an event in China. Now, Xiaomi has teased the arrival of a Mi MIX phone without revealing the device name. However, speculations are high that this could be called Mi MIX 4 or even Mi MIX Fold, the much awaited first foldable smartphone from Xiaomi.  The Mi MIX 4 is said to be sighted on the MIUI code blog with a model number K2B. The phone reportedly features a QHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is alleged to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor.  The source also claims Mi MIX 4 to get triple cameras by the back. It may include a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera, a 48MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 48MP telephoto optics. The camera setup may allow 5x optical zoom, 120x hybrid zoom, and 15x video zoom.  The company has also teased the use of a Liquid lens instead of a mechanical one on the upcoming MIX, and is aiming for what it calls, ‘Bionic photography’. This could warrant the following theoretical benefits:

Faster focus with minimal distortion while overcoming environmental factors.A variable focal length for versatile perspectives on the go.Space thus saved could result in a more compact chassis.

Since the company hasn’t put much light on the upcoming Mi MIX phone, we make do with leaks that offer a fair idea. The Xiaomi foldable phone is expected to flaunt a design similar to Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2. Also, a Xiaomi phone had appeared on the TENAA listing and 3C certification site indicating it to be the brand’s foldable phone, ie the Mi MIX Fold. The listed phone indicates up to 16GB RAM, 512GB ROM, and 67W fast charging capability. ALSO READ: Vivo X60 Pro review with pros and cons – should you buy it?
